Art Director Steve Beavers joined Wishbone Graphics, Inc. in 2003 to work with outside companies seeking advertising, design and marketing expertise. In 2008, Steve collaborated with Jean and our production team to give Plano Profile a "makeover." The magazine's bright colors, bold headings, and consistent typefaces can be attributed to him. Also, in 2010, Steve began contributing a blog to our website called "Mixed Thoughts."

In his 20-plus years of design, copywriting and broadcast experience, Steve has worked for a commercial printing company, a technology-advertising agency, a broadcasting company, and a multimedia house. He also built and managed an in-house creative department for an international corporation based in Plano, where he was part of a team that received a Clio Award.

During his time at Wishbone Graphics, Steve has continued to receive awards and accolades for his work. Our company is consistently recognized in national competitions including the Healthcare Advertising Awards and the Aster Awards.

A native Dallasite, Steve earned a B.A. in communications from the University of North Texas. He sees way too many movies, can't possibly read all the books he has, and used to own a velvet Elvis, but he sold it on eBay. "It's just...things," said Steve, holding back a tear.
