Dances for Adults with Disabilities, organized by the City of Allen, features live music, snacks, and a commemorative photo mailed to each participant. Plano Metropolitan Ballet is nonprofit ballet company made up of more than 45 auditioned dancers from ages 10 to 18, while the Junior Company is comprised of nearly 40 dancers ages 8 to 12. Each year, Plano Met performs an original fairy-tale ballet and hosts the Plano Dance Festival. Plano Met is under the direction of Cindi Lawrence Hanson, and its members train at Gotta Dance.
